Ponderosa Pine Restoration for Priority Bird Species in Idaho, Oregon and Washington This initiative, funded by a Wildlife Conservation Society grant, supports the creation of cavity-nesting habitat for the Flammulated owl, Lewis's woodpecker, and White-headed woodpecker on family forest lands.

Oak Savannah Ecosystem Restoration in the Willamette Valley Starting in late 2006, this initiative, supported by a NRCS grant, addresses oak savannah restoration on family forestlands.

Habitat Restoration for Coho Salmon and Steelhead In 1998, Shared Streams helped implement a project to improve a segment of the West Branch of Evans Creek that supports populations of coho salmon and steelhead, two species under consideration for threatened or endangered listings under the Endangered Species Act.
